Select the most suitable versions of the basic units of the car.

Body. It is most convenient to make the body of galvanized sheet thickness of 0,8-1 mm. It is lightweight, durable and corrosion resistant.

The number of wheels. The best option is a two-wheeled wheelbarrow. It is stable, maneuverable and lightweight.

The bearing of the wheel. From the point of view of operation, the rolling bearings are preferable to sleeve bearings. However, the production of ball-bearing knot is quite difficult, requiring the performance of turning works. Bearings (axle bushing) are made much easier. And that car was easy, only need to regularly lubricate the wheel axles with grease.

Fabricate the body of the car. To do this, the blank body cut corners so that you can fold over the edges of the sheet (the body panels) of width 200 mm back and sides, 280 mm front. In the two rear corners must be cut the squares in the front corners – rectangular triangles with legs of 200 and 280 mm When cutting to keep the strips width 20 mm that will bend at the connecting side for connection of the boards. Fold the body walls: posterior and lateral – at an angle of 90°, the front at an angle of 45°. Connect curved wall to each other using the left strips by bolts or rivets.

Bend strips of rims for the wheels. As a template, use an existing wheel (drive wheel) Ø340 mm. These parts are matched (the disk is inserted into the rim), so their diameters must match each other. After bending and fitting weld the ends of the strips and Waite discs inside the rims.

Cut out the wheels center hole with a diameter of 22 mm and wirite them in the sleeve-hub, placing them symmetrically relative to the disk. Thus, the wheel will be a rim of flat bar welded inside the disk, in the center of which is welded to the hub. For reliability, connect the edges of the wheel rims six-millimeter rod. The number of bars on each side of the hub should be equal to three (at an angle 120 °to each other). These rods, which serve as spokes (in addition to the discs), will give the hub a sufficient rigidity.

Put the wheels on the axle and drill the axis holes for insertion of pins of the wire that will hold the wheel on the axle. To hub not clung to its edges for welds and cotter pins on the axle on both sides of the hub, put the washer. Before final Assembly, don't forget to lubricate the wheel axles with grease.
