For casting sinkers take a metal strip width of 1.5-2cm and make it out of the box without a bottom in the form of two l-shaped halves. Halves connect small screws. Turned out the mold.

Best future mould on casting sinkers, place on a flat surface. To do this, take a small sheet of Plexiglas or other material with a smooth surface. Pre-obtained base is wetted with soapy water.

The material for filling in the form, construction gypsum, which is sold in DIY and hardware stores. Take any plastic container and mix with mortar plaster to fill the mold. This should be done very quickly, given that the plaster hardens quickly. Bringing the solution to a thick sour cream with a spatula fill out the form.

Take sinker-sample and moisten with soap and water. Then submerge it half in thickness in the still soft plaster. Wait until hardens.

Untwist the screws, remove the metal frame. The upper part of the sinkers, wipe with a solution of soap.

Again cover with a soap solution of a metal frame and fill with a solution of gypsum.

Take the first frozen form of gypsum, turn to the second, not yet hardened gypsum proforma. Press with the power of the visible part of the sinkers. Wait until the plaster hardens.

With a file-needle file and knife to make a conical hole for pouring the lead and the hole for the exhaust air.

Melting lead mould sinkers, pre-connected to the plaster mold clamp. It is important that the billet of lead cooled by itself. In any case, do not lead cool water. In the smelting of lead sinkers use extreme caution not to burn yourself. Casting sinkers are produced in a well-ventilated area, preferably outdoors.
