1
The foam is glued to almost any adhesive. Typically used frost resistant facade adhesive, mastic for gluing ceiling tiles, liquid nails, moment of installation etc currently there is special glue for foam. When choosing a glue, pay attention to the composition. If the composition contains organic solvents, for example, petrol, ether, acetone, this glue is prohibited to use, as there can be dissolution of the foam. The foam can be easily fixed and reinforced in light of plaster layers.
2
The foam adheres to almost any material, whether brick, concrete, drywall, osb, plywood, steel, magnesite sheet, galvanized iron and many others. Below the foam is securely held, often use nails-fungus. For example, when the exterior insulation, installing foam on the adhesive, each sheet of foam, which has a size of 50x100 inches, fixed in the middle and in the corners. Hat also captures the fungus neighboring sheets. After that, the foam is applied to the reinforcing mesh and the plaster.
3
At the moment there are many ways to mount the foam. The most commonly used attachment to the sheathing, the flooring on the surface, gluing and mechanical fasteners with anchors, fungi, pins, etc. to cover a large area of the insulation, using mechanical fasteners, for example "fungus". It allows to make from a single piece of foam, two layers. Further they are mounted overlap. This option is good because no cold bridges. The joints are not in need of insulation using foam.
