Start with the introduction. Often required not only description pictures and brief biography of the artist. The first sentence could begin with, "The author of this picture is...". If artist information is not needed, as the intonation you can use your own emotional perception. Answer the question: "What am I feeling when looking at this picture?" Write: "The picture makes me feel happy/sad". Describe yourself in 3-4 sentences.

Go to the description of the foreground of the picture. It usually depicts the most colorful characters and notable details or features of the landscape. Even the portrait contains objects that attract the viewer's attention. You can write: "My attention was captured by a man, who is... He is wearing..." So you have to build a coherent story.

Describe the background. It contains details and elements that support the main theme of this painting. In their description, you can show all your powers of observation. Note the fallen tree, the inscription on the boat, the dog – anything that is of interest. Write: "On the second plan of the picture we can see a dog/a boat/a tree..." Say a few words about the mood that these parts have: "The dog really makes this picture funny..."

Let us dwell on human relationships, if they are depicted in the picture. Describe their actions, emotions: "The boy is happy because he..." Try to guess which dialogue could take place between the characters: "They might be talking about..."

Make a conclusion. Write what you understand after viewing the pictures, which she called thought, what made me think, recalled: "The picture made me think about... I think the artist tried to show us..." you Can add reviews about the film critics, or recommend others to see it: "I recommend everybody watching this picture, because it is..."
